Alaco Associate Director Austen Josephs contributed analysis to a Reconnaissance Research working paper on the deteriorating investment climate in the Gulf states that has been published in the Kuwaiti newspapers Al Anba, Al Rai, Al Seyassah and An Nahar. He discusses the challenges the Gulf faces in attracting investment in the post Covid-19 world and how the region has failed to shift the perception that it lacks both the political will and the legal tools to clamp down on corruption.
