Alaco is actively seeking a senior and experienced figure to help manage and expand the firm's work in the MENA region.
Among other duties, the role would include operational responsibilities across both our Transactions and Disputes practices, oversight over junior staff's research and analysis, management and expansion of the firm's external resources, and client engagement and development initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in - and command of - Middle Eastern politics and business affairs, and will likely have spent at least five to seven years in the business intelligence sector (or a corresponding field where skills will prove transferable). The successful candidate also will demonstrate a proven ability to work in a fast-paced team setting, and will have taken on the responsibilities of team oversight in past positions. Superior communication skills - both oral and written - are essential to the role, with both editing and drafting in English forming key components of the position. Arabic language skills - the ability to read, at the very least - are required.
