Alaco sponsored a table at a charity gala dinner to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Asian tsunami.
The dinner, organised by humanitarian NGOs GOAL and the Indian Ocean Disaster Relief Fund, saw some 400 people gathered in a hotel in the City of London. Sports presenter John Inverdale MC'd, with a variety of guests from both the financial and sporting worlds, including many of the England cricket team and US actress Gillian Anderson. Alaco continues to support GOAL in a number of ways. GOAL is active all over the world, with disaster response and long-term programmes in Asia, Africa and Latin America (www.goalglobal.org).
